KICK off: 26 January 21:45
Information: Looks to be good value here on Raith considering they both played at the weekend at Tyncastle and Raith ran out 3-2 winners. This time Raith will be the home team and they have been strong there for a while now and that being the main reason they got promoted last season. They’ve only lost two games at home since the start of the 2019/20 season. That’s a long time. Before Raith’s recent 2-0 loss at home to QoS, they were unbeaten there since December 2019. They are also only 9 points behind Hearts with 2 games in hand so with Dunfermline and Dundee’s inconsistency, they could be Hearts’ closest challengers. Hearts have been average away from home lately, losing to Dundee, Alloa and Dunfermline. You could say this is the toughest match of the 4, there is certainly no guarantee Hearts will win here. Hearts will want revenge and to pull away from the chasing pack but there seems to be value on Raith to keep this a close encounter. It is also a mid-week game and this is usually when you see more unusual results, or results that go against what should happen at least. Raith Rovers will be without the following players – Lewis Vaughan (Thigh Problems), David McKay (Cruciate Ligament Surgery). Hearts are without John Souttar (Achilles tendon rupture) and Jamie Brandon (Cruciate Ligament Surgery).
Prediction: Over 2,5 goals
