KICK off: 11 March 19:55
Team news: Scan results showed on Monday that Marcus Rashford has avoided ankle ligament damage but is still highly unlikely to feature here. Luke Shaw looked set to come off injured against City on a couple of occasions and wasn’t even certain to start until the warm-up so may not be risked here. Mason Greenwood should come into the side for Rashford, with Alex Telles replacing Luke Shaw at left-back. Eric Bailly is an option to replace Victor Lindelof at centre-back. Dean Henderson will continue in goal with David de Gea back in Spain after the recent birth of his first child. Edinson Cavani and Donny van de Beek are doubts for the home side but Paul Pogba is expected to miss out once more here. Diogo Dalot is free to play against parent club Manchester United if selected. Ante Rebic and Theo Hernandez were not even fit enough to make the bench at the weekend and remain doubts here. Sandro Tonali was only fit enough for a place on the bench at the weekend and didn’t come on. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to miss out on a return to Old Trafford because of injury. Hakan Calhanoglu, who has been linked with a summer move to United, is ruled out. With Mario Mandzukic also expected to miss out, Milan find themselves short in attack. United will be familiar with Chelsea loanee Fikayo Tomori, while ex-Manchester City youngster Brahim Diaz will hope to feature.
