KICK off: 11 May 20:00
Team news: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has no choice but to make drastic changes to his starting XI to face Leicester with the welcome of Liverpool just 48 hours later. Harry Maguire is ruled out against his former club on Tuesday after suffering an ankle injury in their 3-1 win over Aston Villa on Sunday. Alex Telles, Eric Bailly, Axel Tuanzebe, David de Gea, Brandon Williams, Donny van de Beek, Juan Mata and even Amad Diallo could all realistically start against Leicester. The fact Mason Greenwood was subbed off just after the hour-mark against Villa suggests he will keep his place in the side here with Edinson Cavani saved to face Liverpool. Leicester’s sudden downturn in form has come at the worst possible moment for Brendan Rodgers, who would ideally like to hold some players back for this weekend’s FA Cup final, but at the same time needs to get points on the board to secure a top four finish. No risks will likely be taken with Jonny Evans after he pulled up injured in the warm-up prior to last week’s shock defeat to Newcastle. Ayoze Perez, Luke Thomas, Daniel Amartey, Nampalys Mendy and Dennis Praet all have a decent chance of starting at Old Trafford on Tuesday and it wouldn’t be a complete surprise if Jamie Vardy is given a breather ahead of their Wembley showpiece.
