Roy Hodgson has a number of injury concerns ahead of Saturday’s welcome of Chelsea. Nathaniel Clyne, Nathan Ferguson, James McArthur, James Tomkins and James McCarthy are all doubts. Michy Batshuayi scored off the bench to secure a point for Palace in last weekend’s draw with Everton but won’t be able to build on that here as he is ineligible to face parent club Chelsea. Thiago Silva is the only absentee for Chelsea as the Brazilian serves a one-match ban for last weekend’s red card against West Brom. N’Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic were fit enough to come off the bench in Wednesday’s 2-0 win away to FC Porto. Chelsea are all but through to the last four of the Champions League but Thomas Tuchel is still expected to shuffle his pack here after of next week’s second leg. Kurt Zouma, Marcos Alonso, Olivier Giroud, Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi will all be in with a chance of starting here.
