Missing Players and team news:
Jorginho and Mason Mount are both suspended for the second leg due to an accumulation of yellow cards in the competition. Thomas Tuchel has concerns over Tammy Abraham’s ankle injury and the striker should miss out again here, while Thiago Silva also missed the 0-0 draw with Leeds. Tuchel used a 4-2-3-1 system at Leeds on Saturday, but may revert back to his tried and tested 3-4-2-1 setup here. Kai Havertz has shown signs of promise in recent games but is still struggling to score so may drop to the bench here with Olivier Giroud preferred. Jose Gimenez returned to first team action following injury in the 0-0 draw with Getafe and is set to feature again here. Diego Simeone has elected to use a four-man defence of late and may continue that trend at Chelsea. That would see Marcos Llorente and Saul Niguez feature ahead of Koke, though Thomas Lemar is a more attacking option if Simeone wishes to take the game to the Blues.
